He founded ClinicianOS to bring clinicians' professional development and knowledge into one AI-powered platform. He is a member of the RCEM Informatics Special Interest Group and the IFEM informatics community, and has published on AI-assisted clinical documentation in the Emergency Medicine Journal.

Abid has taught for over a decade as an instructor in ATLS, ALS, ACLS and point-of-care ultrasound, and has been faculty at conferences across four continents. He is an examiner for the European Board of Emergency Medicine and the George Washington University MEM programme, and sits on NHS national trainee interview panels. He also founded the Swantree Environmental Foundation and is a GreenED assessor and Co-lead GreenED International, supporting sustainability in emergency care.
His teaching is hands-on and grounded. Clinicians don't need to become engineers, but they do need to know how to use AI well, how to check its output, and when their own judgement must come first.

Hi, I'm Abid Nisar. I'm an Emergency Medicine consultant, now working in Doha, and I've spent the last 15 years practising emergency medicine across four countries, most of it in the NHS.
I got into AI for a very practical reason. Clinicians are stretched, and I wanted to know whether these tools could genuinely help on a busy shift. To whom it may concern,
I, Dr. Abid Nisar
The answer is that they can help a lot, but only if you know how to use them properly and safely.
Since then I've become CMO at Rhazes AI, where I lead on clinical governance and AI safety, and I founded ClinicianOS. I also direct the AIRx course, which we've run with RCEM, IFEM and Various Universities across the globe.
On AIRx, I'll show you what these tools do well, where they fail, and how to use them in your own practice. No jargon, period. Clinician to Clinician.
By the end, you'll be using AI with confidence, and you'll stay firmly in control of it.
You don't need to learn everything about AI.
You need to understand enough to know what matters. Start with the foundations, then follow the subjects that matter to your work.
