About Course

About the Course

LLM Basics introduces a practical approach to working with large language models. The course is designed to help you understand the basic concepts and develop a clear, practical workflow for using an LLM.

You will explore what a large language model is and how you can find and use one for practical tasks. You will also consider which route to an LLM may be most useful for the way you work or study.

The course then looks at the importance of context. You will explore how adding relevant context and files can affect the relevance of an LLM's response and consider what information you should choose not to upload.

You will learn to describe the output you need by thinking about the task, the context the LLM needs, and what you want the finished response to look like. This provides a simple way to make your requests clearer and more purposeful.
